All current LACC students, faculty, and staff are eligible for a free New York Times digital subscription! The New York Times offers breaking news, multimedia journalism, and investigative reporting on topics ranging from world news, to climate change, to technology and innovation.
1. Open nytimes.com in your browser
2. Click Log In at the top right
3. Choose Continue with work or school single sign-on
4. Enter your LACCD email address
5. Sign in with your LACCD Portal/SIS account credentials.
*Each time you need to log in via the web, choose “Continue with work or school single sign-on” from the login screen. For app access, see instructions below.
After activating your NYTimes.com account, you can download the apps with these links:
Note: SSO login via mobile apps is not yet supported. After activation, you can use a NYT connected email/password or social login. If you have not yet created a NYT-specific password follow these instructions.
You can keep it and still get free News access. This way, all your subscriptions (like Cooking or Games) stay in one account. If you currently pay for a digital News subscription, start by cancelling your paid subscription, then follow the instructions below:
