Library Instruction Survey

This guide contains resources for exploring career options, job search sites, resume and interview resources, and a link to our practice test database PrepStep.

Experience is an important factor in the job search. Check with departments on campus if there are any job opportunities so that you can start building up your resume.

Career Preparation & Study Guide eBooks

We also have a number of eBooks (and Print books in the library!) that include study guides and practice tests for various occupational examinations. Below are a few examples and you can search the eBook collection for more. If you would like to borrow a print book from the library, search our print book catalog or ask a librarian for help.

Try adding "study guides" and "examinations" to your subject search.

Career Research

The MLK Jr. Library has a number of eBooks (electronic books) focusing on different career paths. Use the Title search to find these. For example "Careers in Education", "Careers in Nursing", "Careers in Film", etc.
